1st ReSPIRE Meeting – Oct 2026
The 1st ReSPIRE Meeting will take place at Genopolys from October 5th at 2 pm to October 7rd at 3 pm
We are pleased to announce the kick-off meeting of the ReSPIRe network : “Replicative Stress and Pathologies in the era of interpretable AI : from fundamental research to innovations”.
It will take place on the 5-6-7th of October 2026 in Montpellier.
This event marks the evolution of the historical GDR Replication meeting into a new era with the aim to bridge the gap between the DNA replication and artificial intelligence communities.
While the first day will echo the familiar format of the biology sessions, the second day will transition into a collaborative workshop where biologists will present challenges met with the enlarged datasets of genomics, proteomics and high-throughput imaging and AI researchers will show their methodologies and applications within the life sciences, especially in the field of DNA replication.
Who should attend ?
- Biologists in the field of DNA replication that are curious to learn about the new developments in the field of AI, even if you are not currently using AI in your research
- AI researchers that are interested in establishing collaborations with biologists
Why attending ?
- The rapid growth of biological “big data,” particularly in DNA replication research, has made familiarity with AI an essential skill.
- Biologists generate terabytes of complex data in genomics, proteomics, and imaging which represents an opportunity to apply AI methodologies to biomedical applications.
Whether you are a biologist navigating the big data era or an AI researcher looking for new challenges, register now to join the discussion and help shape this new series together.
Registration is free but mandatory :
